← All stories Case study · HEINI meets HEINI

When your supplier
also has HEINI.

From tender to machine — without a break.

HEINI becomes truly strong where two companies use it. Because it knows product data and bills of materials so deeply, it can pass needs straight through — and the whole path from need to production runs through without retyping, without media breaks.

Ausblick: This story shows the direction. Deep product data and bills of materials are live today (see streifenvorhaenge24). Direct company-to-company hand-over via proprietary federation is in progress — we say honestly what stands and what is coming.

The example: streifenvorhaenge24

At PSE Technik the bills of material are stored — every configuration of a strip curtain or swing door automatically resolves the matching BOM. HEINI knows what a product really needs: parts, quantities, lead time. That is live today. Where production is connected, the same applies to 3D printing with full proof — if material, permission or quality is missing, HEINI blocks.

What becomes possible when both have HEINI

If the supplier also had HEINI, nobody would need to retype an order: HEINI passes the bill of materials and the need straight through. From a tender — approval by approval — comes an order, a production order, eventually the instruction to the machine. One continuous thread instead of a chain of PDF, email and follow-up.

A bill of materials that isn’t retyped but understood — and flows from company to company.

The federation idea

Why that is gold for everyone

The more companies in a supply chain use HEINI, the less friction between them. Every step with approval, everything in the audit-proof log — exportable as PDF. The digital authenticity and ownership proof travels with the product when it leaves the site. Authenticity & ownership →
