His best component was copied. Now everyone can tell the original.
Mr Reuter makes specialist components. Good work gets around — including among those who copy it cheaply. One day a replica sat on the table, deceptively real. Only it wasn’t his. And Mr Reuter could not prove it.
Today every product gets its own forgery-proof digital identity from HEINI — a record that runs through the whole product life: who made it, from what, when, who owns it. Not a sticker you peel off. A record you cannot fake.
When Mr Reuter sells a part, the ownership record moves cleanly with it — both sides have the protocol. Years later on the secondary market, anyone can check: is it genuine? The original says yes.
And where HEINI is involved in production — for example in 3D printing — nothing is created without proof: the right material, the permission, the checked quality. If a record is missing, HEINI does not print. Every part carries its proof of authenticity from the first second.
The original stays recognisable. The copy comes off worse.
Every product with its own proof of authenticity and ownership — documented, checked, approved.
